Our Work
Selected Team Experience
Five real stories from our founding team’s prior work — shared to show how we think, not to claim a corporate track record for Digital Solution Research Inc.
Our Operating Method
Seven stages that turn offline complexity into a scalable digital product.
Capture
Observe and digitize what is currently offline, manual, fragmented or unmeasured.
Structure
Convert observations, paperwork, transactions and workflow events into organized, usable data.
Analyze
Quantify volumes, capacity, bottlenecks, user behaviour, exceptions and root causes.
Redesign
Reconstruct the process around a simpler, measurable and more efficient operating logic.
Automate
Use software, AI, workflow engines, integrations and digital infrastructure to reduce unnecessary manual intervention.
Productize
Separate client-specific requirements from the recurring problem that exists across a broader market.
Scale
Deploy a standardized core with configurable edges through recurring, usage-based or licensing revenue models.

A landmark with a mystery traffic problem
Offline Behaviour → Operational Intelligence
A busy downtown landmark had a traffic problem nobody could explain: crowded in some spots, empty in others, with steady complaints about parking and shared space. Management could see something was wrong, but not why.
We tracked how people actually moved through the site — where they walked, how long they stayed, when they bought things — combining GPS-enabled tracking with plain old observation.
The data pointed to something nobody expected: most purchases happened early in the visit. That single insight reshaped the parking experience, vendor placement and how busy zones were laid out.

A service buried in paper
Paperwork → Digital Operating Workflow
A large organization ran a critical service almost entirely on paper. Files got lost, nobody could see where a case stood, and problems only surfaced once the backlog had piled up.
We mapped the process end to end — every handoff, every bottleneck, every stack of paper — then rebuilt it as a secure digital portal with role-based access, searchable records, and a simple red-yellow-green status tracker anyone could understand.
The client owns that system today. What stayed with us was the playbook: how to turn a messy paper process into one people can actually see and manage.

The intersection everyone assumed needed more lanes
Congestion → Adaptive Infrastructure Intelligence
One intersection kept backing up, and the obvious assumption was that it just needed more lanes.
Instead of watching only that intersection, we put cameras on the ones around it too, to see where the traffic was actually coming from and going. It turned out the jam wasn’t constant — it spiked at specific times, tied to nearby events.
That changed the fix entirely: from "add more lanes" to "coordinate the lights around it, at the right times."

Replacing the payment counter, not the staff
Counter Payments → Scalable Transaction Infrastructure
Plenty of organizations still process payments at a staffed counter — slow for customers, costly to run, and disconnected from the back-office books.
We’re building a self-service kiosk that accepts the payment and reconciles it against internal records automatically, queuing anything outside normal processing hours for the next cycle instead of requiring manual re-entry.
The real value isn’t the kiosk. It’s connecting the payment straight into the back office so nobody has to reconcile it by hand.

From a phone call to a click
Manual Certificate Issuance → Straight-Through Digital Processing
Ordering an official certificate used to mean a phone call, a mailed cheque, and a staff member manually pulling the record, filling in the document and emailing it back.
We rebuilt it as a self-serve online flow: pick the property, pay, get the certificate. Behind the scenes, the system pulls the record, fills an approved template, and deletes the file once the retention period ends.
We aim to make adoption revenue-neutral for the organization — the person ordering the certificate covers the fee, not the municipality.
